Going out blind

It was an interesting evening on the water. Had no graphs or gps, just old fashion land reference fishing spots. After nearly 2hrs of nothing and starting to think I made a big mistake going out blind. I arrived at a new spot and I finally got a bite but missed it. After that I went 5 casts, 5 Bass, all biggins'. I lost another 3 or 4 then hit one last spot before I ran out of light. I gave it 10 mins and caught one more about 3.5lbs then the biggest of the evening at 5lbs 15oz. It was exactly what the doctor prescribed, I had a blast and I can't wait for the busy weeks ahead!
